homebrewing must have

out of the hundreds of diffrent kettles, buckets, thermometers and other tools for homebrewing

the thing I feel is the must have is a wort chiller

immersion-chiller-tubing-l.jpg

no more bathtub full of ice and water to cool the wort.
in my house the bath tub is upstairs so that ads even more fun !
drop this in the kettle at the end of the boil and in 30-40 mins you have perfect chilled wort ready for yeast.
check out williams brewing or northern brewer its 50-60 bucks well spent.

the worst beer ?

Has Jeff at beervana found the worst beer in the world with henry weinhards belgian-style wheat

What it is: “Orangina,” Sally noted, seconds after curling her mouth into a grimmace and horsing down the last swallow she’ll ever have of the beer.
Seriously, it’s an orange soda, from the fizzingly Fanta-like nose to the artificially-flavored soda palate. (It may not be artificially-flavored, but it manages to taste like fake orange flavoring nonetheless.) It’s even orangy-amber. It’s shockingly bad.

Cobra Beer is in talks with Budweiser to distribute the brand in the US.
In a sharp mid-course correction, Karan Bilimoria, the NRI beer maker, is in talks for a distribution tie-up in the US with Anheuser-Busch, whose Budweiser lords it over half the beer market in that country.
Bilimoria, the chairman of Cobra Beer, had earlier attempted to make inroads in the US market on his own with his Krait brand of beer. However, the attempt was not too successful due to reasons that included stiff competition from Budweiser.
